Sonia Boyce in One Hundred Ways to Love at Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas
The Dallas Museum of Art presents One Hundred Ways to Love (2026), a large-scale wallpaper installation by Sonia Boyce DBE RA that transforms the museum's Concourse. Marking the seventh iteration of the DMA’s mural commission, the immersive floor-to-ceiling work continues the artist's longstanding engagement with popular music.
The vibrant pattern is inspired by a Peter Todd Mitchell wallpaper design drawing selected by Boyce from the DMA’s permanent collection. Within a repeating gilded frame motif, the installation embeds the names of one hundred songs spanning various eras and genres that feature the word "love" in their titles.
One Hundred Ways to Love is organised by the Dallas Museum of Art, with support from the Texas Commission on the Arts and the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.
